If your organisation runs an election on AVESYS, you receive a personal link with a single-use token. The link opens a public page where you can vote. You do not need an account.
Step-by-step
- Open the link you received by WhatsApp or email.
- Verify the election title and the candidates listed.
- Pick your candidate for each open position.
- Click Cast my vote.
- The page shows a confirmation and the token is marked as used.
What success looks like
- The confirmation page tells you your vote was recorded.
- The link no longer accepts another vote — your token is single-use.
- Your individual choice stays private; the organisation only sees
the tally, not who you voted for.
What should not happen
- You should not be asked for a password or your card details.
- You should not be able to vote twice with the same link.
- The page should not ask for sensitive personal information beyond
what was already on file with your organisation.
Common questions
- I lost the link, can I get a new one? Yes — ask your
organisation to re-issue your token. The old link will not work after re-issue.
- The link says it has been used but I never voted. Contact your
organisation immediately. They can audit the token and decide whether to re-issue.
- Can I change my vote after submitting? No — once your token is
consumed, the choice is final.
